CEO
Patrice Choffat founded Bestag. He is the CEO and is responsible for the product and for customer satisfaction. His experience with sales and data gave him the idea to improve real estate brokerage.
Before Bestag, Patrice worked for 13 years in strategy consulting, distribution management & analytics: developing business strategy, helping measure performance and improve sales force effectiveness. This experience inspired him to redefine real estate brokerage.
Patrice Choffat has a Master in Economics and Finance of the University of St Gallen (2004) and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Director Suisse Romande
Francisco Hernandez is as Director of French-speaking Switzerland for Bestag. He is responsible for the customers and the network.
Before Bestag, Francisco was 10 years in FMCG and leading a sales teams. He then joined a cantonal bank as head of mortgage products where he gained extensive experience in real estate.
Francisco Hernandez has a Master in Economics from the University of Lausanne, HEC (2005).
Director Deutschschweiz
Gabriel Diezi is Director for German-speaking Switzerland and speaks fluent Bernese German.
Before Bestag, he worked for seven years in management consulting, insurance and advertising - always striving to advise and support customers to their complete satisfaction.
Gabriel Diezi holds a double bachelor's degree in business administration and economics and a master's degree in accounting and finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG, 2015).
Strategic advisor
Andreas P. Meyer is the first strategic advisor of Bestag. In this role, he helps to define strategy and ambitions, as well as to identify the best way to reach the goals.
After starting his career as a Swiss lawyer, he was corporate lawyer and project leader at ABB, and then lead Deutsche Bahn’s energy supply as well as their urban mobility divisions, as a member of the Executive Board. Under his impulsion as CEO since 2007, the Swiss Railways SBB undertook several significant infrastructure and real estate development projects. Entrepreneur since 2020 with his company A.P. Meyer & Partner AG, he shares his time between roles as advisor, coach and investor with several BoD mandates.
CFO
Aymeric Peignon joined Bestag at the end of 2021 as CFO. With 10 years of experience in investment banking, he is specialised in corporate finance and M&A transactions. He has been mostly active on the Swiss market but has also been involved in cross-border transactions.
His experience has enabled him to advise numerous Swiss SMEs and start-ups on financial structuring, strategy and fundraising.
Aymeric Peignon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from the University of St Gallen and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Lausanne (HEC).
CTO
David Nguyen is the CTO of Bestag. Internet veteran, he founded in 1995 one of the first Internet service providers in France and has been working over the last 10 years with many startups, helping them scale their business model.
He has a profound knowledge of the Internet and the digital world, from complex project management, to mobile app development, including managing intricate technical infrastructures.
David Nguyen, musician in his spare time, has a degree in recording engineering and in music from the university of Los Angeles (1994).
Head of Product
Mathias Rufer is Bestag's Head of Product.
Before Bestag, he first worked in public administration, followed by a good 5 years in auditing. Now he wants to support Bestag in bringing transparency to the real estate market.
Mathias Rufer completed his part-time Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the Bern University of Applied Sciences (2018).
Client advisor - Greater Lausanne
Delia Borloz joined Bestag as a client advisor. Previously, she worked almost 15 years as sales and marketing manager at Ringier Axel Springer for some of its leading medias such as the Handelszeitung, Bilanz, PME Magazine and for Le Temps.
As an experienced sales specialist, her skills are perfect to help clients succeed in their real estate sale.
Delia Borloz holds two Bachelors in management and psychology from Webster University (2004).

Maxime Legent advises Bestag clients in and around Geneva. Prior to joining Bestag, he was a real estate agent in an established Geneva firm.

Nicole Schläpfer is a client advisor in the greater Zurich area and the Eastern part of Switzerland. Before Bestag, she had been working for more than 20 years in different Marketing and Sales positions within a broad range of industries.
She is convinced that sales without a trustful and positive human interaction cannot work. Focus is always on the human being.

Marlene Müller Jilecek is a client advisor in the Zurich area. Before joining Bestag, she worked for several years as a product manager in a pharmaceutical company.
As a co-owner of a real estate company, she brings practical experience in the areas of sales, leasing and property management. With her empathic nature, she places great value on authentic and personalized support during the sales process. Because every property, like its owner, is unique and meaningful.
Marlene Müller is a certified marketing planner (2000) and successfully completed her training in property management at SVIT Zurich (2020).
Customer advisory service & business development - Central Switzerland - Ticino Region
Daniela Gübelin advises Bestag customers in Central Switzerland and Ticino. At the same time, she has made it her mission to raise awareness of Bestag in her region so even inexperienced property sellers can achieve the best possible sales price.
Daniela was most recently Quality and Risk Manager at the Lucerne Social Insurance Centre WAS and before that she worked for many years as a consultant in PR agencies and was self-employed.
Daniela graduated in business administration from the University of St. Gallen and later completed a CAS in Governance, Risk & Compliance and in Work Integration at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. To Daniela, Social and socio-political issues are just as important as the 'hard facts' of business. Both together ensure social security and financial stability in our beautiful Switzerland.

Markus Andreas Schenk advises Bestag customers in the greater Zurich area. Before joining Bestag, he worked for seven years as an area developer and franchisee in the restaurant business. Doing this, he gained many years of experience in the real estate sector through new site developments. Before that, Markus worked for a leading recruitment company as a consultant in Basel and Zurich for another seven years.
